Camera-Ready Artwork:
Camera-ready artwork is a high-contrast black and white photostat, artboard or high-definition laser-printed sheet containing no gray or fuzzy areas and bearing sharp, precisely-defined edges and outlines. Do not write on your camera-ready artwork; use removable notes to indicate location or any desired revisions. Faxed artwork and photocopies are not acceptable, nor is artwork generated from low definition printers. Multi-color artwork needs to be color separated with registration marks. J and A can provide minor artwork at no extra charge including resizing and adding text. We also have thousands of nationally recognized logos on file.
Digital Artwork: You may provide artwork in digital format on CD-ROM, floppy disks or by e-mail. Logos should be of suitable resolution (300 dpi for CMYK files and 1200 dpi for line art is recommended) and submitted as TIFF or EPS files. When sending digital artwork, please send a hard copy for our reference. This is especially important for e-mailed artwork, since images do not always retain their integrity when sent over the Internet. Email art to janda@j-and-a.com. Acceptable graphics software programs include Corel Draw, Adobe Photoshop, QuarkXPress, FreeHand and Adobe Illustrator. Please do not send artwork in PowerPoint, Publisher, word processing, spreadsheet or database software programs. Web graphics are too low resolution to use for camera-ready art. If you cannot supply camera ready art, we will provide art services at no extra charge for single color, basic logos. Multi-color and complex art will require a quote. Please email your logo for more information. For straight text imprints just email or fax us a layout and we will create a camera-ready copy for your approval prior to production. |
